the Sirenide Ensemble performed a series of inedited neapolitan music with M° Carmela Fiorile Conducting her own arrangements. The event was attended by a large number of children from Primary Schools.

Born in Sorrento in 1967, Carmela Fiorile by the age of six years had already shown a talent for musical performance and composition. Supported by her parents from the age of ten years, she studied classical music.Music has remained Carmela Fiorile’s passion. Her repertoire ranges from playing the piano and organ, singing, director of choral music and composition. She has attained a level of excellence in each of these disciplines.In 1977 she began to study the pianoforte under the tutorship of a Sister at the Institute of St. Anna. This enabled her to become the organist at the parish church of St Anna, Sorrento Italy. She began accompanying the music at this parish at the young age of thirteen years.Carmela Fiorile continued her musical studies under the guidance of Maestro Eugenia Gimmeli. (Concert performer and Professor of Music of the Conservatoria of Music, Naples)After obtaining her Diploma in the Pianoforte with brilliant results at the Conservatoria of Music Salerno, she continued to perfect her studies in composition and directorship under the guidance of Gabriele Iacarrino (Professor of Music at the Conservatoria of Naples.) Having participated in both national and international music competitions she achieved the following:

Carmela Fiorile has dedicated herself to concert music. This has included pianoforte solos and duets with clarinettist Luigi Basile and Flautist Francesca Fiore. This has led to numerous concert performances. Her numerous pianoforte solos’ include performances at the Cathedral of Sorrento, the leading hotels in the Sorrento region and concerts for the communities of Striano and Sorrento.Moreover Carmela Fiorile’s has numerous roles and responsibilities with a number of organisations. These include teaching, advisory as well as her musical performance. and directorship. The school of St. Maria Della Pieta of Sorrento, the ethical board of the Soggiorno St. Antonio, the parents association of 2000. Carmela Fiorile has a vital roles both as teacher and performer (pianist) in the Association of Sianese Diffusion of Music and the Association of Sorrento Jazz. Carmela Fiorile has dedicated her career to both the teaching of the musical instrument as well as writing music. Her dedication, enthusiasm and teaching methods have enabled her students to develop their love for and repertoire in both classical and neapolitan music, leading to their successful careers in music.At present she is the appointed head of Pianoforte Studies at the L’Istituto Comprensivo ‘F. Caulino’ in Moiano Vico Equense.

Nata a Sorrento nel 1967 Carmela Fiorile già dall'età di 6 anni dimostrava propensione musicale e compositiva, motivi per i quali fu avviata dai genitori a 10 anni allo studio della musica classica. Carmela Fiorile ha riposto nella musica la sua fiducia, con ambizioni e sacrifici, spaziando dal pianoforte all'organo, dal canto alla direzione corale e alla composizione, tutte discipline rigorosamente eseguite nel prospetto della più alta serietà e professionalità.Nel 1977 inizia a studiare pianoforte sotto la guida di una suora presso l'Istituto S. Anna con lo scopo di formare la futura organista della Parrocchia di S.Anna. A soli 13 anni inizia ad accompagnare con la sua musica le celebrazioni religiose nella stessa Parrocchia.Prosegue gli studi sotto la guida della M° Eugenia Gimmelli (concertista e docente del Conservatorio di musica di Napoli). Dopo il Diploma di pianoforte conseguito brillantemente presso il Conservatorio di musica di Salerno segue corsi di perfezionamento e continua lo studio della Composizione e direzione sotto la guida del M° Gabriele Iaccarino (docente del Conservatorio di Napoli).Partecipa a concorsi nazionali e internazionali conseguendo il 4° premio nella Rassegna Concertistica 1988, il 1° premio al Concorso nazionale giovani musicisti nel 2004 e il 1° premio al Concorso Europeo giovani musicisti.Si dedica all'attività concertistica sia come pianoforte solista che in duo con il clarinettista Luigi Basile, con il quale ha eseguito numerosi concerti, che con la flautista Francesca Fiore.Come pianoforte solista ha eseguito concerti per la Cattedrale di Sorrento, per vari alberghi tra cui il Majestic Palace, per il Comune di Striano e per il Comune di Sorrento. Ha collaborato inoltre a scopo didattico con la Scuola elementare S. Maria della Pietà di Sorrento, con il Soggiorno S.Antonio (ente morale), con l'Associazione genitori del 2000, con l'Associazione Sianese diffusione musica e con l'Associazione Sorrento Jazz sia come insegnante che come pianista. Si è dedicata alla didattica dello strumento e alla trascrizione facilitata di musiche del repertorio classico e napoletano formando nel corso degli anni validi musicisti.Vincitrice di tre concorsi a cattedra per titoli ed esami è attualmente docente titolare di pianoforte presso l'Istituto Comprensivo “F.Caulino “ di Moiano Vico Equense.Collabora con al violinista Angela Amato nella Direzine Artistica dell' "Associazione Musicale Culturale Sirenide" per l'innovazione didattica, la promozione di progetti innovativi culturali e di eventi.

Angela Amato graduated with top marks at “Giuseppe Martucci “ Music Conservatory under the guidance of Maestro Antonio Autieri, she than accomplished her Post Graduate Degree at "Accademia Internazionale Pescarese " under Professor Beatrice Antonioni. She continued her advanced Post-Graduate Studies in Switzerland and UK, with Tibor Varga, Yfrah Neaman, Zineida Gilels, Lydia Mordcovich and Emanuel Hurwitz.Hurwitz not only brought Angela's professional skills to a fine level, both as a soloist and orchestral leader, but also trained her, together with his wife Kay, to be a successful teacher bringing her into contact with Sheila Nelson and the Paul Rolland Methods which Angela has used regurarly. She gained a place at the Post Graduate Course in Music Teaching at the Institute of Education in London, acquiring further expertise in teaching. Ms Amato completed her Master Degree in Music with Top Marks and Honuors at "San Pietro a Majella Music Conservatoire" in Naples under the guidance of Maestro Franco Ciavarella. She speaks four languages fluently, Italian, French, English, Spanish and knows some German. In 1995 she was appointed Permanent Staff at the Watford School of Music in London where she worked as a Violin Tutor till 2002.At present she is Violin Tutor at Accademia Musicale Jacopo Napoli in Italy. She has been assistant at the Summer Chamber Music Courses at the Harrow Public School and YMC , Bigwood Rd Centre, in London, and has been invited, as assistant of Professor Beatrice Antonioni, at the Music International Summer Course in Cava de' Tirreni, (SA) Italy.
Winner of National and International Prizes including "Amici Di Castel St. Angelo, Rome “, " Francesco Cilea International Chamber Music Competition", 1994 awarded by the Competition Chairman Roman Vlad for the brilliant interpretation of Francesco Cilea and Jhon Ireland music. In September 2003 has been awarded the ARTECNO scholarship as the best instrumental candidate. Her professional concerts engagements have included Recitals and Solo appearances in the most prestigious national and international Music Festivals. She has been member of the Baroque Ensemble "Pieta' dei Turchini" where under the baton of M.Antonio Florio she has given numerous concerts featuring the Baroque Neapolitan repertoire also collaborated with Roberto de Simone.
She is an expert of modern and contemporary music gaining much success with the interpretation of the Bernard van Dieren Violin Solo Sonata, the first performance of Eiluned Davies' European Dances for violin and piano accompanied by the British composer-pianist and the first performance of Serbian-composer's works, Radich and in 2006 the first performance of "Andantino" for violin and piano by Francesco D'Avalos.Other performances have included works of Angelo Bellisario, Giacomo Manzoni, Patrizio Marrone, Vincenzo Palermo amongst many others. In 2006 her successful performance of “Elegia” for Solo Violin and String Orchestra,have started to engage Angela Amato in a series of performances of Recitals and Solo Concertos with Orchestra, which include many inedited works by modern and 700' and Jewish Music Composers. In Duo with piano beside the traditional Duo repertoire, she performs works by William Walton, Lili Boulanger, Ottorino Respighi, Ernest Bloch, Josef Myslivecek and several others.
Ms Amato has been well acclaimed for her performances of all Bach's Violin Concertos at Holy Trinity Church, Prince Consort in London where she performed and conducted the Orchestra. Also appreciated for Vivaldi Double Concerto with Emanuel Hurwitz, the Mozart G Mag. Concerto with "Amati Ensemble" and "Gusella Orchestra", the M. Bruch Concerto with NWLO.She performed Vivaldi four Violin Concerti with "Norcia Chamber Orchestra" and in 2007 was invited to play Bach Concerto in A minor at the William Walton Festival with the St. Pietro a Majella Music Ensemble. She also performed C. Unico Van Wassaener Concerto Armonico with "Gruppo Pieta' de' Turchini".Ms Amato has been Leader of several professional Orchestras in Italy ( at the age of 17 Angela was already Leader of Giuseppe Martucci Chamber Orchestra conducted by Enrico Volpe ) and UK and has collaborated with prestigious artists as Tibor Varga, Gilbert Varga, Mathias Bamert, Donato Renzetti, Renato Piemontese, Francesco D'Avalos, Igor Oistrach, Latica Honda Rosenberg, Miriam Kramer , Jae Hong Yim, Miriam Contzen, Mateja Marinkovitch, Professor Michael Schreider, Marina Petrov, Olga Wilson, Akane Makita, Emi Noda, Enzo Palermo, Pino de Vittorio, Daniela del Monaco, Nelly Miricioiu, Enrico Baiano and many others. She has been member of the Morris Quartet, String Celebrations and Martucci Trio.She is currently collaborating as a Leader of the Barsentum Orchestra and is carrying out research and performances of Italian Music of the 20th Century and Contemporary repertoire. Angela Amato is President of "Associazione Musicale Culturale Sirenide" and with her colleague Carmela Fiorle is working on Educational and Cultural Innovative Projects on International scale. The Educational Project refers to the International Innovative Multicultural Project Musequality, lead by David Juritz, Leader of LMPO. She has recorded for Radio and TV Rai, Radio France, BBC and Radio Swiss Romande. She recorded two CD's ( 28 and 29 Festival Tibor Varga, Sion, Switzerland). Ms Amato plays a French violin 1780 Paris-School.
